The food was pretty good and wasn't too busy at around 1pm on Father's day. Food was slightly on the salty side but flavors were still really good. Usually you can tell if dimsum is good by their Shrimp dumplings, and it was pretty good.

A nice surprise. This place is away from the hustle and bustle, a nice calm brunch here yielded some nice surprises. The peking pork chops, and beef flat noodles was the highlight. If you like shrimp dumplings, you will like the ones they serve here. Shrimp filling is fresh and crispy. Enjoy!

Came here with relatives who treated so no idea about price/value. Good wise, pretty good, the standout was the "Peking pork" (sweet and sour pork with the bone in), it was really flavourful. Had the steamed fish, chicken, and veggies were good. Service was standard. Interesting to note: they have valet parking.

Hubby and I frequent this joint quite a bit. They serve decent food from breakfast, lunch to dinner and service are good. We recently had dinner with friends and tried the Geoduck & Lobster sashimi style (special request and need to order in advance). it was fresh and they made congee with the lobster claws. I highly recommend the signature Cage Free Chicken 招牌口水雞, so tender and juicy. I also like the Fried-Fish Buckle With Chili Pepper, and Daipeng Fried Rice Noodle. I am a happy return customer to this restaurant.

I enjoyed myself here. Plenty of seating and clean environment. Many of the options that I wanted weren’t available. Overall I would come back. They do have high chairs for kids.

I'm quite surprised that this is literally the only Hong Kong style cafe/diner in all of Flushing. For a cuisine category that's super popular in Southern California, NYC is really lacking. The closest competition is Cha Chan Tang in Manhattan. HK Cafe does a pretty good job of going beyond the limited westernized Cantonese food. On this particular late-night 4th meal run, my wife opted for the ox tail and I had the thousand years egg congee along with my favorite: baked seafood rice. If you've never had baked rice from an HK Cafe, this place is definitely a good spot to have your first experience. As with most baked dishes, the dish doesn't arrive instantaneously like other dishes (it always amazes us how quickly the food gets prepped after ordering at Chinese restaurants). The decor is quite interesting with a few scenes from Old Master Q and a lit picture of Hong Kong behind the front counter. Otherwise, service is typical for Chinese restaurant (cold, quick, and efficient).
